Meta Tags

FrontPage

  • Open the web page in page view
  • right click on the page and choose page properties select the custom tab
  • click the add button next to the user variables list
  • enter the type of information (DESCRIPTION or KEYWORDS) into the name box
  • For the DESCRIPTION information, type DESCRIPTION into the name box and type a description of the page into the value box, about 25 words, click ok
  • return to the page properties, custom box and click add for the next meta tag
  • Type KEYWORD into the name box
  • enter keywords into the value box, separated by a comma
  • click ok
  • Note: leave the pre-existing meta tags as they are
