Meta Tags

DreamWeaver 4.0 and above

For keywords:

  • Open the web page in standard view
  • Choose insert -> head tags -> keywords
  • Type in individual keywords and short phrases, such as Web author support
  • Use a comma to separate words and phrases
  • Click ok

For descriptions:

  • Choose insert -> head tags -> description
  • Enter a short description of your page, such as "Web Author support and information for the University of Northern Colorado". Use proper punctuation
  • Click ok
