Logging on to the Web Server and Publishing Files

Accessing the Server

1. Log on to UNC's VPN:

  • VPN Instructions

2. Once you have connected to UNC's VPN, you are ready to publish. Their are two commonly used tools to access the university Web server and following are instructions for the settings required to log on to the WWW server:

  • Dreamweaver CS5 (Standard and Streaming Versions)
  • Dreamweaver CS4 and Older
  • WS-FTP
