The University supports the following software for use in creating Web sites:

• Dreamweaver MX2004, 8 - training offered by the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning
• FrontPage 2003 - an easy-to-use tool with many tutorials available

Please do not use Word, Microsoft Publisher, Excel, Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress to create Web pages. Although each has an option to save as HTML or Web page, the resulting file is non-compliant with HTML standards and difficult to edit.
