Snippets, Widgets, and Assets

In addition to the basic rows available for entering content, OU Campus offers Web Authors the flexibility to add other content structures to a page. Here are some examples:

A Widget is a piece of content that has formatting built-in and that can be placed in the Right Sidebar on one page, several pages, an entire section, or repeated throughout the site.

A snippet is a piece of pre-built code that users can place within an editable region to structure the content area on a webpage

Assets allow you to create and manage reusable content in one location and insert that content on an unlimited number of pages within any editable region.
