The Arc of Weld County
Come volunteer with The Arc of Weld County and be a part of grassroots change committed to creating opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have many opportunities for volunteers to make a difference. Some of these include:
- Down Syndrome Support Group: Volunteers will provide childcare during the support group from 6-8pm one night a month, every other month.
- Film Festival:Volunteers will help greet guests, pass out candy, and help guests to their seats. This event takes place in March during National Disability Month.
- Families in Action: Volunteers will attend a 3 day retreat in Estes park providing camp activities to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities while their parents receive advocacy training. This is one of our biggest events and requires at least 30 volunteers. This event takes place in August and requires volunteers to attend an orientation during the summer and become CPR certified.
These opportunities and many more are available. Please contact Mike Heroy at 970.353.5219 or by email, MikeH@arcweldcounty.org for more information.
