Partners Mentoring Youth

Partners Mentoring Youth coordinates one-to-one mentoring relationships between positive adult role models and youth (ages 7-17) facing challenges in their personal, social, and academic lives.

Senior Partners are needed to begin sharing their lives in everyday activities with Junior Partners (youth). Partnerships will be based on common interests, personality characteristics, volunteer strengths, and the needs of the youth. Senior Partners are asked to commit an average of 3 hours a week with a Junior Partner (youth) for a minimum of one year. Application process and training are required prior to becoming a Senior Partner.

Activity Volunteers are needed help with monthly group activities for youth who are waiting to be matched with Senior Partners. Application process and training are required prior to becoming an Activity Volunteer.

If interested in volunteering, or if you have additional questions, feel free to contact Gail Shatz at 970-378-6501 or gail@partnersmentoringyouth.org.
