Community Educational Outreach

Community Educational Outreach offers education and training to at risk adults serving sentences in the Community Corrections Facility in Greeley. CEO provides GED classes and job search training such as resume writing, interviewing, etc. Volunteers are needed for the following positions:

  • One on One Adult Tutoring - Help adult students earn their GED and/or improve their high school level academic knowledge. Volunteers may choose academic area, include Reading, Writing (including essay writing), Math, Science, and Social Studies. CEO will work with volunteer schedules and availability, as much as possible, but needs volunteers Sunday-Thursday from 5:30-8:30 PM and Monday-Thursday from 8:00-11:00 AM.
  • Practice Interviewer & Job Search Counseling for Unemployed Adults - Help individual unemployed adults evaluate and refine their interviewing skills, resume building, cover letter development, and application completing information. CEO will work with volunteer schedules and availability, as much as possible, but needs volunteers Sunday-Thursday 5:30-8:30 PM and Monday-Thursday 8:00-11:00 AM.
