Campus Visit Options

Preview Days

Preview Days are a special, full-day event specifically designed to bring high school seniors face-to-face with UNC students, faculty and administrators. At Preview Day you can go on a campus tour, visit residence halls, attend presentations by professors, admissions and financial aid counselors, try lunch in a residence hall, sit in an actual class, and ask all your questions at student panel meetings.

• Friday, October 25, 2013

• Friday, January 17, 2014

Advance registration for Preview Day is required and will be available online in August.

Tentative Preview Day Schedule:

• 8:15-9:00am - Continental Breakfast & Information Fair
• 9:00-9:45am - Welcome to UNC!
• 9:45-11:15am - Campus Tour (includes a visit to one residence hall)
• 11:15-12:00pm – Major/Faculty Presentation (separated by academic majors)
• 12:00-1:00pm - Have lunch with a UNC Student—free of charge!
• 1:00-4:00pm – Class Visits* and Residence Hall Tours Available
• 1:15-1:45pm - Information Session - Admissions, Financial Aid & Living on Campus
• 1:45-2:10pm - Student & Parent Break-Out Session
• Students: Question & Answer Panel with current UNC Students
• Parents: Question & Answer Panel with UNC Staff & Students
• 2:15-2:45pm – Optional Afternoon Sessions
