Colorado Springs, Colorado
My name is Ethan, and I am a junior at the University of Northern Colorado. I am studying Business with an emphasis in Management. I was born in Sierra Vista, Arizona, but moved away at an early age, so I don't remember about the state. My dad served in the Navy until I was 17, so I pretty much grew up moving every two years or so. Now, my family is settled in Colorado Springs, so that’s where I call home! I chose UNC as my school because of the people I connected with during visits here. Moving around a lot, I've found that a certain place isn't what you call home, it's the people there that make it home. With that knowledge, I was convinced that UNC was the place for me because of the people in it. I don't know exactly what I want to do after college, other than I want to lead people to accomplish goals in a business. We'll see where that takes me!
1. I played soccer and swam in high school, but love all other sports as well.
2. Me and my family lived through two major typhoons (hurricanes) while living on the small island of Guam. It was a very scary, but fascinating experience!
3. I have been to 19 different countries in my lifetime, and hope to go to many more in the future!
My favorite place on campus has got to be the disc golf course. It is such a beautiful layout and really captures the beauty of UNC.
Get out of your comfort zone and do things you wouldn't normally do. Meet new people. Be interested in learning new things. If you don't end up liking it, you've at least gained some friends and memories along the way!
