My name is Claire Metusalem, and I am a sophomore Acting major and Human Services minor from Houston, Texas. I am also a member of the Honors Program on campus. I chose UNC because of the solid study abroad program, the strong and intimate Acting program, the beautiful scenery, and the warm and welcoming feelings I received the moment I stepped foot on campus. For me, UNC is the perfect size: large enough so that I see new people every day, but small enough so that I run into my friends on the way to class. After I graduate, I plan on attending graduate school for acting in the hopes of becoming a working actor at a regional theatre.
1. I have an inside joke about eggs with my friends (I'm not kidding).
2. I have been to eight countries.
3. I am a very adventurous eater.
My favorite place on campus has to be Gunter Green. I love looking at the architecture of Gunter Hall and being outdoors with friends.
Be yourself! This is honestly, in my opinion, one of the most important things that you can do for yourself throughout college.
