Dan is the Director of Veterans Services. Dan served seven years in the Navy before receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from Ozark Christian College and then continuing his education with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. Dan loves to have fun, play hockey, and enjoy the outdoors especially hiking, mountain biking, and fly fishing. His greatest joy is spending time in the mountains with his wife and their three boys.
Veterans Academic Advisor - Academic Support & Advising
Kim is an Academic Advisor for our students here in Veterans Services. She is an avid CrossFit-ter and loves to discuss working out and eating healthly. She hales from the great state of Oklahoma and we could not be more excited to have her in house. If you have academic or other advising needs, she is the expert!
AF Reserves / USAF Veteran
Allison is originally from Indiana and graduated high school early and joined the Air Force at age 17. She was stationed overseas for 3 years and spent 3 years stateside. In the Air Force She was a 4E (Public Health Tech), 4N (Nursing Tech), 4A (Medical Admin) and a 4C (Mental Health Tech), and is still serving in the Air Force Reserve as a 4C. Right now Allison lives in Greeley with her husband, 2 dogs, and 7 fish and is pursing a Special Education Degree at UNC.
US Army Reserves / AROTC
Aaron is a junior studying Computer Information Systems and participates in UNC’s Army ROTC unit. Aaron is an Army Engineer in the Army Reserves and just started working with us in 2013. Aaron is our Webmaster for Veterans Services.
Jonathan is a senior studying Criminal Justice. He served four years in the United States Army Infantry. He loves music and is very active in school events. He is happy to be part of such a wonderful team, and free to help when needed.
Ryan is a sophomore studying Psychology and is a Navy Veteran. He has been working Veterans Services since 2012, and he is excited to be working with Veterans and dependents alike. Ryan does a lot around the cottage, however his biggest project is serving as the President of the Student Veterans of America chapter here on the UNC campus.
