UPC HAS REOPENED HIRING FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN POSITION!


Graphic Designer Description:

The UPC Graphic Designer will work with the Marketing Coordinator to create all graphic design materials for UPC programs, manage graphic design work requests, and assist the UPC Marketing Coordinator to design and implement formal and informal recruitment campaigns. This position requires a minimum of 14 hours per week between UPC office hours and events. The term of this position begins July 23rd, 2012 to the date of the last coordinating board meeting of the Spring semester.

This student position requires students who are enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to be involved in a visible leadership position on campus.

Certain requirements are necessary in order to apply for a UPC Coordinating Board Member Position. These requirements are stated below:

  1. Be currently enrolled in and complete at least 12 undergraduate or 9 graduate credit hours.
  2. Be in good academic standing on a per term basis with UNC and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 and a semester grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Time Commitment: Each coordinator is required to work a total of 14 hours per week. Coordinators start their positions in July of the academic year.

Compensations: Coordinators are paid $6,000 for the entire academic year. This amount is split into monthly payments.

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 2. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

In addition to completing the form online, applicants must submit a sample of their work.

After applications are submitted, all applicants will be screened to determine if basic requirements have been met. Applicants selected for an interview will be notified.
