We appreciate your time and effort in applying for admission to the University of Northern Colorado and promise that we’ll consider your application carefully and thoroughly, and let you know the results as soon as possible.

Here's what you'll need to get started:

  • ACT or SAT scores.
  • $45 processing fee. The $45 fee is waived for all freshman applicants who have at least a 112 CCHE admission index.
  • Essays and letters of recommendation are not required unless students do not meet UNC’s automatic admission requirements.
  • UNC does not have an admissions deadline but recommends that students apply fall semester of their senior year.
  • You should receive an admissions decision about two to three weeks after you apply.
  • Please have a final high school transcript sent to UNC Admissions once you graduate.

Acceptance to the University of Northern Colorado does not guarantee admission to all majors; the programs listed below require a separate application or screening process for admission to them.

  • Make sure firewall on your computer or network is not prohibiting access.
  • Disable your pop up blocker.
  • For help, call the University of Northern Colorado Technical Support Center at (970) 351-4357 or (800) 545-2331 7 a.m. - midnight, Monday- Friday and 10 a.m.- 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
