A Little Bit About What We Do...

Welcome to the home page of the University of Northern Colorado Student Radio Station. UNC Student Radio is a student run online station, completely composed of student volunteers, with the help of our faculty adviser, Dr. Matt Semak. UNC Student Radio, formally known as KSRX, has existed for over 10 years. We have evolved through many different phases, from a FM station, to an online station, to almost nothing, then to a closed-circuit TV station, and back to an online station. We currently have an online stream right here on our website, which is largely paid for by student fees. Students living in UNC dorms can also still find us on channel 3 on their televisions.

UNC Radio has many different outlets for reaching university students. Besides the online stream and TV broadcast, we put produce concerts for students on a regular basis. We also participate in university events and are involved in several charitable fund raisers.

All University of Northern Colorado and AIMS students are encouraged to get involved in the radio station. Please seek us out if you'd like to get involved, as we're always accepting new student DJs and workers. On behalf of the students at UNC Student Radio, we hope that you enjoy our station, and please contact us with any suggestions, comments, or ideas.
