Both US Highways 34 (east-west) and 85 (north-south) travel through Greeley. Interstate 25 is about 10 miles to the west, Interstate 70 is about 55 miles to the south, and Interstate 76 runs at a diagonal leading from Denver to the north-east corner of Colorado, passing about 20 miles south of Greeley at its closest.

Map services on the web, such as Google Maps or MapQuest, will show a variety of routes to campus locations, which may include travel over backcountry roads. We recommend the routes listed below because of simplicity and quality of the highways.

• If you are driving from Denver International Airport, follow these directions
• If you are driving from Denver or farther south, get on I-25 going north (continue)
• If you are driving from Cheyenne or farther north or west, get on I-25 going south (continue)
• If you are driving from the north-eastern part of Colorado, get on US Highway 34 going west (continue)

Directions from west of Greeley

• Proceed on I-25 to the US Highway 34 exit (labeled Loveland-Greeley).
• Take the exit, going east, on Highway 34.
• After five miles, remain on the Greeley/Ft Morgan route and continue east (Don't take the business route exit).
• As you reach Greeley, look for the 11th Avenue intersection.
• Turn left and proceed 8 blocks. As you drive north on 11th avenue you will see the West Campus buildings to your left. The University Center is another block farther, and on your right. At this point you are between the central and west campuses. Refer to the parking map for the most convenient parking lot.
• If you are visiting the Admissions office, taking a campus tour or participating in a Preview Day, follow these further instructions.

Directions from east of Greeley

• Follow signs to get to Highway 85 Bypass.
• Drive on Highway 85 Bypass to 18th Street.
• Turn west on 18th Street and proceed to 8th Avenue (You can't go any farther - the campus is in the way.)
• Turn left on 8th Avenue and proceed 2 blocks to 20th Street. At this point you are between the central and west campuses. Refer to the parking map for the most convenient parking lot.

There are two ways to get from DIA to Interstate 25 going north.

• Get to I-25 Northbound Via E-470 Toll Road (faster, $4.00 charge)
• From maps.yahoo.com
• Exit the airport on Pena Boulevard traveling west
• Take the E-470 NORTH/120TH AVENUE exit, exit #6B
• Take the I-25 exit towards FT COLLINS - go 0.8 mi.
• Take the I-25 NORTH exit towards FT COLLINS exit 46 - go 14.7 mi
• Get to I-25 Northbound Via 104th Avenue (slower, free)
• After you leave the parking area payment booths, get in the far right lane.
• Take the exit marked "Tower Road."
• At the bottom of the hill is a stop sign. Turn right onto Tower Road.
• In 5.8 miles you will reach 104th Avenue (look for the street sign on the stoplight).
• Turn left and proceed to the entrance to I-25 North (several miles).
• Exit to the right onto I-25 N
• Once you are northbound on I-25:
• Proceed north on I-25 to the US Highway 34 exit (labeled Loveland-Greeley).
• Take the first exit, going east, on Highway 34.
• After five miles, remain on the Greeley/Ft Morgan route and continue east.
• As you reach Greeley, look for the 11th Avenue intersection.
• Turn left and proceed 4 blocks.
• You will see the West Campus buildings to your left. The University Center is another block farther, and on your right. At this point you are between the central and west campuses. Refer to the parking map for the most convenient parking lot.

Visiting Admissions, taking a campus tour, or participating in a Preview Day

• Take 11th Avenue to 19th Street and turn east.
• Drive one block and you will see the Visitors Center on the far corner to your left. Drive straight across the intersection and you can park in the parking lot directly to the south of the Visitors Center. The visitor parking spaces will be on your immediate left as you enter the lot. You can park, then get a parking pass from the Visitors Center.
• If you are going to be taking a campus tour, please report to the Visitors Center at 1862 10th Avenue.
