History
The first of the Faculty Apartments was completed in 1930 and known as the Faculty Clubhouse. The other units were built in 1936, 1940 and 1948. These English Tudor buildings have provided inexpensive housing to faculty and graduate students for many decades. Renovation for unit 1 was completed in 2001 and units 2 and 3 were completed in 2003.
Named for
These apartments were renamed in 2005 to honor past UNC Presidents. Faculty Apartments #1 is Brown Hall Faculty Apartments #2 is Lujan Hall Faculty Apartments #3 is Dickeson Hall Faculty Apartments #4 is Bond Hall

Brown Hall = Student Housing Lujan Hall = Student Housing Dickeson Hall = Student Housing Bond Hall = Faculty residence and graduates
