Tobey-Kendel Hall

History

Tobey-Kendel Hall was originally constructed as a Women's Residence Hall. It was completed in 1936, and then remodeled over the years to serve primarily as a dining hall. Tobey-Kendel was constructed under a project that included Snyder and Sabin Halls. This construction project was federally aided by the U.S. President F.D. Roosevelt's RFC & PWA programs. The building was renovated as part of the Central Campus Renovation Project.
