History
Gordon Hall was constructed in 1921. This building was the product of President John G. Crabbe's residence hall program. President Crabbe wanted to attract more female students to the university. Gordon Hall and both Belford and Decker Halls were originally women's residence halls. Gordon Hall served as the university counseling center for many years.
Named for
This building was named after Sophia Park Gordon. She was a leader in a number of educational and social organizations in Colorado at that time.
Current Use
This hall was renovated in 1999. At this time, Gordon Hall is once again a residence hall.
