History
This building was completed in 1999 amidst the central campus renovation. A student referendum provided the funding for this facility.
Named for
Dr. Nancy A. Scott and Marcia M. Willcoxon are the two the building is named after. Willcoxon is credited for creating the Women's Studies program while a faculty member in 1974. At that time, it was one of only three in the country. Scott served as Vice President for Student Affairs from 1984-1995 and was involved in student affairs and women's issues on a national level in addition to her dedicated work on campus.
Current Use
This building houses the Women's Resource Center. This center provides a forum for discussion of issues important to woman, activist and leadership opportunities and many other programs available to women.
