History
Wiebking Hall was completed in 1957 under president William R. Ross. This building and Wilson Hall were the final additions to the central campus in the 20th century.
Named for
Wiebking Hall was named for Edith Gale Wiebking. She was an associate dean of women as well as a director of the women's campus residence halls. She also was a professor of English. Edith served the university from 1918-1949.
