History
The building was built in 1966, shortly after McCowen Hall during the presidency of William R. Ross. This west campus residence hall was built to relieve the stress due to the overcrowding on the central campus.
Named for
This building is named for M. Lucile Harrison. She was a professor emeritus of elementary education as well as a co-author of a national reading series. Professor Harrison also received an outstanding teacher award.
