Xeric Park
History
The Xerix Demonstration Garden was completed in 1999. The project began 10 years before. The concept of this garden is to demonstrate what various types of low water use plants look like in the landscape.
Current Use
Various Statistics — There are many types of grasses, herbs and trees as well as areas that can be "adopted" as garden or research plots. The project was funded by UNC, Great Outdoors Colorado and the City of Greeley.
