Susan E. Carparelli is president and chief executive officer of Florence Crittenton Services, a Denver-based non-profit serving pregnant and parenting teens through the Florence Crittenton High School, Early Learning Center and Family Engagement Center.
Carparelli has worked extensively on state and federal workforce development initiatives and has broad organizational experience in both for-profit and non-profit operations leading service delivery and systems change efforts.
Her professional experience includes public-private partnership development, strategic planning, program development, marketing, and community and government relations in addition to her social work background.
She’s the former founding director and CEO of the Colorado Center of Nursing Excellence, an organization founded to address the nursing shortages within Colorado.
Carparelli earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota. As a clinician she worked extensively with child and adult victims of sexual assault, incest and domestic violence.
