R. VISHWANATHAN “VISH” IYER
Vish Iyer is a professor of marketing in the Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado. He has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing and related areas for over 30 years. He joined the University of Northern Colorado faculty in marketing in 1985. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University, a master’s degree from Western New Mexico University and a doctorate from Texas A&M University.
Iyer has published over 50 manuscripts and made numerous presentations on topics such as strategic alliances in business organizations, sport marketing, financial feasibility models for small businesses, product management strategies, co-branding strategies, use of decision support centers for decision making, and classroom learning models. His research interests also include marketing pedagogy, problem-based learning models, and marketing strategy.
He has designed and taught courses in international marketing management, marketing strategies, marketing problem-solving, product management, international business and culture, small business counseling, and physical distribution and logistics.
Iyer has also conducted a number of seminars in developing marketing strategies, product and service strategies, problem-based learning, and international business and culture.
