20 Callery Pear ‘Chanticleer’

(Pyrus calleryana ‘Chanticleer’ )

The 'Chanticleer' Callery pear is a cultivar that is partly selected because of its unique combination of good traits, including great form and resistance to blight and limb breakage. In contrast, poor limb or weak branching has been a major problem with some of the pear's relatives, including commonly planted ‘Bradford’ pear trees.
