Exploring Primary Sources through Geographic Thinking

Open to teachers from all districts

TPS at UNC is hosting this workshop in collaboration with the Colorado Geographic Alliance to provide in-depth exploration of primary sources through the lens of geography. Applicable to all grade levels, this workshop focuses on geographic/spatial and historical thinking and targets Colorado Social Studies standards. Explore maps and other primary source formats, practice formulating quality questions and consider ways to integrate geography more fully into your lessons.

Note: Essentials Exploration recommended as a pre-requisite for this workshop, but not required. Requires pre-workshop viewing of online module.
