Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: You may either submit a request online or call us at (970) 351-4070.
Q: What if the payment is tax-exempt?
A: Our reservation system automatically charges tax. To adjust the charges, Colorado law requires us to have a copy of your organization's tax exempt certificate (not just the number). We cannot accept a 501c3 Federal Non-Profit Certificate. You must also pay for your reservation using a credit card issued to you by your organization. The tax will be refunded to your organization's credit card or we will issue a check (2 week processing time).
If you are paying with a personal credit card, we cannot refund the tax amount collected, regardless of your organization's tax-exempt status.
Q:What is the cancellation policy?
A: There is no financial penalty if you cancel your reservation 24 or more hours prior to the scheduled night. For online reservations, the full payment minus a $5.00 fee will be refunded back to the credit card used for payment. A UNC check will be issued for all reservations paid for by cash, check, or money order. Please allow 2 weeks for processing. To cancel a reservation, please call us at (970) 351-4070 or email us at email@example.com.
Q: What time is check-in? Check-out?
A: Check-in is at 3:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am. Please let us know if you need to schedule an early arrival or late departure. We can also store your luggage at the front desk for a few hours to accomodate a travel or meeting schedule.
Q: Can an extra guest stay with me?
A: We do not allow unregistered guests to stay overnight in rooms or suites, even if that person is sleeping on the floor or couch. There are no roll-away beds or cribs available.
Q: How do I request a specific roommate?
A: If reserving online, you can request a specific roommate in the Notes section of the registration page. If reserving in person or by phone, let the reservation assistant know about any roommate requests.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: No, only service animals are allowed on campus. For service animals, you must notify Conference Services at (970) 351-4070 or firstname.lastname@example.org at least 3 days prior to your arrival to receive written approval.
Q: Are there kitchen facilities
A: There are no kitchen appliances available in any individual room or suite. You may bring your own coffeepot but no hot plates or other applicances are permitted. Each floor wing has a full-sized kitchen for your use. There are no dishes, pans, or utensils provided.
Q: Where can I purchase meals?
A: Moderately priced buffet-style meals are available when Holmes Dining Hall or the University Center Food Court is open. There are also several retail options (ie Starbucks, Einstein Bros Bagels, Taco Bell, Subway) located in the University Center. Information regarding dates of operation, hours and meal prices is available here.
Q: Is North Hall ADA accessible?
A: The entrances and elevators at North Hall are ADA accessible. There are several fully ADA accessible suites available by request at reservation time or at check-in time on a first-come basis.
