Summer 2010 Rates

Double Rate ($28.00/night per person, plus tax)--Two beds per Room:

  • You will be assigned one twin bed of your own, but will potentially share the room and the whole suite (including common living area and bathroom) with randomly assigned others of your own sex unless you request a specific roommate.
  • Please Note: The Double Rate is the charge per bed: Each person in a shared room is charged the Double Rate (unless they are included in a Suite reservation).

Single Rate ($43.00/night per person, plus tax):

  • You will be assigned to have a room to yourself, potentially sharing the whole suite (including common living area bathroom) with randomly assigned others of your own sex.
  • Please Note: The Single Rate room to which you are randomly assigned may contain only ONE (twin) bed.

Suite Rate ($65.00/night for the suite, plus tax):

  • Any person or combination of up to 4 persons may share a suite, under one person's Suite Rate reservation.
  • The Suite Rate can only be obtained by reserving initially for a suite.
  • Only one reservation may be used to reserve a suite.
  • We cannot split one suite payment among multiple credit cards.

How can I request to share a room or suite with someone specific?

  • If reserving online, you can specify a roommate or suite-mate request in the Notes section of the Registration Page.
  • If reserving in person or by phone, let the reservation assistant know about any roommate or suite-mate requests.
  • To help us ensure that you will be assigned with your requested roommate or suite-mate who is making their own reservation separately, it's best to ask your roommate or suite-mate to specify your name in their own reservation process as well.

Can an extra (unregistered) person sleep overnight on a sofa or the floor of my room or suite at no charge? Are there any "hide-a-bed" (sleeper) sofas? Are roll-away beds available?

  • Unregistered persons cannot stay overnight in rooms or suites (even if sleeping on a sofa or the floor), in order for us to maintain an accurate current nightly guest count for building safety purposes.
  • Suite sofas are not "sleeper" (hide-a-bed) sofas.
  • There are no roll-away beds available.

  • To obtain the tax-exempt rate, you will need to do one of the following:
    • (1) Fax an actual copy (not just the tax-exempt number) of your organization's state tax-exempt certificate to "UNC Conference Services (970) 351-1104, attn: Mary" before the time of your check-in, OR
    • (2) Provide an actual copy (not just the tax-exempt number) of your organization's state tax-exempt certificate to the reception Desk Assistant at the time of your check-in.
    • Without your tax-exempt certificate copy, we are required by Colorado law to collect tax payment on your housing prior to checking you in.
    • Be sure you are providing the state tax-exempt certificate and not the 501C3 Federal Non-Profit Certificate, which we cannot accept as it does not prove tax exemption.

What if my school or organization is paying for my visit?

The following steps will ensure that your check-in process is as smooth as possible for you:

  • Credit card payments cannot be reversed (credited back) unless you cancel your reservation 3 or more days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
  • Online reservation requires a credit card payment, whether using your own card or that of your school or organization. If you use your own card, you will need to make reimbursement arrangements with your school or organization.
  • Reservations by phone or in person prior to your arrival:
    • You will need to inform us of this special payment situation when making your reservation. At that time you will need to supply us with the name of your school or organization contact person responsible for this payment, along with their phone number and email address.
    • Your reservation will be guaranteed upon receipt of full payment.
    • If you make your reservation by phone or in person but have not contacted our office with this special payment information prior to your arrival, you will be required at time of arrival to pay in full for your visit in order to receive a room assignment. If you pay using your own card, cash, check, or money order, you will need to make reimbursement arrangements with your school or organization.
  • Reservations in person on the day of your arrival:
    • You will be required at time of arrival to pay in full for your visit in order to receive a room assignment. If you pay using your own card, cash, check, or money order, you will need to make reimbursement arrangements with your school or organization.

Will I be charged for a cancelled visit? What if I have to cancel part of my reserved visit sometime after I check in?

  • A reserved visit cancelled 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled arrival date will not be charged, and payment will be refunded.
  • Credit card payment will be credited back to that card upon notice of cancellation.
  • If the reservation was made online, the credit card will be credited the full payment amount minus the $5.00 Online Reservation Fee.
  • Allow several weeks for reimbursement for cash, check, or money order payments.
  • To cancel a visit, you can:
    • Call us (970-351-4070)
    • Email us at uncconfweb@unco.edu
    • Visit us at either the University Center (Directions) or at the WCHP registration desk (between June 1 and August 8, 2009).
