Parent Orientation for Freshmen - WELCOME WEEK - August 22 - 23, 2012
(Wednesday-Thursday)

NOTE: This website is for Parent/Guest reservations only. Students are not charged for orientation and may reserve at Student Reservation.

Please learn more about our online reservation process by reading the information below before proceeding to on-line reservation.

Reservation and Meals:

  • You may make a reservation for more than one person with one credit card.
  • An Orientation Program Fee of $45.00 is charged for each parent/guest
  • A $5.00 non-refundable processing fee is charged for each parent/guest.
  • The Orientation Program Fee includes a box lunch on Day 1.
  • The Program Fee does NOT include lodging; please see Lodging Options below.
  • An optional meal plan is available through this registration process.
    • The charge for the meal package is $25.00 per person and includes the following meals:
      • Dinner Day 1
      • Breakfast Day 2
      • Lunch Day 2

Lodging Options:

  • There are no on-campus lodging options available for parents/guests during this Orientation session. For those wishing to stay in a local hotel, please see hotel listing to make your own reservation.

Payment:

  • Parents/guests paying by credit card will be directed to a secure site for credit card payment. Credit card payment must be submitted online at the time of the parent/guest reservation. A non-refundable processing fee of $5.00 will be assessed at time of reservation.

Confirmation: 

  • A confirmation screen will appear confirming your reservation. 
    • A confirmation will also be emailed to you.  If you do not see a confirmation screen or receive a confirmation email after you reserve, your reservation is incomplete and you must re-submit your reservation on-line. 
    • Participant reservation will be guaranteed only when all fees have been paid.

Changes: 

  • Any changes on your reservation after you receive your confirmation should be submitted by sending an email with your requested change(s) to confirm.orientation@unco.edu or by calling (970) 351-4626. Please DO NOT make another reservation.
  • Changes must be made a full 7 days before the scheduled orientation session.

Cancellations: 

  • If you must cancel your reservation, call us at (970) 351-4626 or email to confirm.orientation@unco.edu
  • CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE A FULL 7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED ORIENTATION SESSION TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.
