Registration opens Monday, April 7th and you will register through URSA.

Current UNC students

  • Maximum Credit Hours

    • The maximum hours you may take during the Summer Session is 15 credit hours. If you wish to take up to 18 hours, you must complete the Overload Request form, obtain the appropriate signatures and return to the Registrar's Office.
  • Registering with holds

    • If you have any holds on your account, you won’t be able to register for classes until the hold is cleared. To do so, you must contact the department that placed the hold.

High School Students

Explore potential majors, get a head start in college and earn college credit with UNC Summer Session. Many courses are offered online during each of the summer sessions.

  • Summer courses are not eligible for the Concurrent Enrollment Program and full tuition will be billed directly to the student. Tuition costs may be found at www.unco.edu/costs.

Adults and Professionals

UNC’s Office of Extended Studies offers a wide range of professional development and nontraditional courses for adults and professionals. In addition, many of our undergraduate and graduate-level classes can help you achieve your professional goals by supplementing your knowledge with the most up-to-date information.
