Fundraising
SPEEC conducts several fundraisers throughout the year. Proceeds from the fundraisers help pay for various events such as the Employee Appreciation Breakfast in the fall, the Awards Banquet and the picnic in the spring. Proceeds also go toward the SPEEC scholarship fund.
Fundraisers include:

Ticket taking at the UNC home football games.

Selling Pizza Palz coupons from Old Chicago.

Selling World's Finest chocolate bars.

Silent Auction at the Awards Banquet in the Spring.

Accepting donations for the SPEEC scholarship fund.

Ways you can help with our fundraisers:

When a SPEEC representative is selling Pizza Palz or candy bars, buy one or more! They make great gifts for student employees or stocking stuffers.

Come to the silent auction and bid on one or more of the goodies offered for sale!

Pledge a monthly or one-time donation to the SPEEC scholarship fund.

Save and bring your old cell phone, old laser cartridges, or old inkjet cartridges. Deliver these items to Vicki Mossman in the Insurance Office in Cassidy Hall, give them to your SPEEC representative, or bring them to one of SPEEC's events. These items are sent to a recycling company and redeemed for cash. Funds are used for our SPEEC-sponsored events and scholarship fund.
