Prof. Marshall’s interests include Theory/Social Thought, Social Psychology, Education, and Qualitative Methodology.
He has presented numerous papers on a variety of theoretical perspectives, most recently Bourdieu and Foucault. He participates in the Humanist Sociological Association and his most recent research is on theoretical perspectives applied in the college clasroom and on dominant/counter-culture conflict.
