Dr. Houser received his PhD in Sociology from the University of Iowa in 1997. Upon graduation, he taught at Bowling Green State University prior to coming to the University of Northern Colorado in 2005.

Tri-annually the Provost's Travel and Development Grants are dispersed providing up to $5,000 in support. Twice yearly the FRPB Grants are awarded to junior faculty.
