Travel Courses

EGYPT

Sociology is the perfect field for travel courses. Currently, our Sociology program has been lucky to be able to a travel classes in Egypt! We are partnered with ARAMFO, Arab American Foundation for Multicultural Education and Students' Understanding. "They were founded to build a stronger bridge of understanding between the Arab world and the United States of America. The ARAMFO mission is to improve relations between the Arab world and the U.S citizens and enhance understanding of Arabs in the U.S. The major aim of ARAMFO is to help people to increase the participants' understanding and tolerance of other cultures, as well as improving their language skills and broadening their social horizons" (http://www.aramfo.org/about-aramfo).

Their program "exists for students who wish to experience culture beyond the classroom as part of their undergraduate and graduate education. When you take advantage of an opportunity to immerse yourself in a different culture and experience alternative perspectives on viewing the world, you can maximize the value of your education. Students who are looking for real experiences of different cultures beyond their classrooms have the right to be supported by ARAMFO Study Abroad Program" (http://www.aramfo.org/).
