A research forum on EU and U.S. Economic Policies and Dynamics moderated, and with contributions, by Dr. Nowak, featuring the following UNC and guest scholars:
- Rutilio Martinez (UNC Finance) and Marie Livingston (UNC Economics) – Topic: “Spain in the 21st Century: Economic Challenges in Relation to the E. U. and the U.S.”
- Bernard Arogyaswamy (CSU-Pueblo) – Topic: “Innovations and New Technologies”
- Katherine Johnson (UNC Geography) – Topic: “Divisions of Sovereignty in the United States and the European Union”
Monfort College of Business, the School of Social Sciences, and the Economics Program would like to announce the following co-sponsored events this week and next in conjunction with the visiting professorship of Dr. Alek Nowak, Dean of the Warsaw University Faculty of Management. Dr. Nowak, an advisor to the Prime Minister of Poland, is a specialist on European Union Economics and represents an outstanding opportunity for UNC faculty and students to learn more about the EU and its place within Europe and on the world stage.
