James Dunn earned a Diploma in Education, and B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Geography from the University of Colorado-Boulder. His specialties include geography education, polar geography, and biogeography. Dr. Dunn was also a research associate at the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research and a polar scientist registered with the Northwest Territorial Government in Canada. He has taught public school at grades 5, 6, 10 and 11 in the Colorado Front Range.
