The SRL is staffed by professionally trained, unbiased researchers who tailor projects to the unique needs of individual clients in the public and private sectors.
Meet Our Staff
Dr. Josh Packard
Dr. Packard serves as the Executive Director of the SRL. Josh earned a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University and is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Northern Colorado. He has an active and applied research agenda relying on university-community partnerships.
Adrianna is the current Senior Graduate Assistant in the Social Research Lab. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado and is working towards her Master’s degree is Applied Sociology. After graduation, Adrianna would like to pursue further education and receive a PhD in research methods. Her research interests include research methods, stratification and inequality, and social policy.
Mitch is currently working toward his Master’s Degree in Sociology at the University of Northern Colorado and hopes to continue on to a Ph.D. program in the social-psychological field. He one day wishes to teach at the collegiate level. He first came to the Social Research Lab in the fall of 2015 as a student worker and is now the Junior Graduate Assistant working here in the lab. In his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, climbing, or anything outdoors.
Kimberly worked in the Social Research Lab for two years as a Graduate Assistant.
In her current position she works on special projects for the Social Research Lab and municipalities. Her research interests are identity work, perceptions, stigma, and homelessness.
Megan is the intern in the Social Research Lab, and is a current Undergraduate student in the Sociology program at the University of Northern Colorado and will graduate in 2017. She works for the Dean of Students, Office of Student Engagement, Title IX and Equity & Inclusion at UNC.
