Add/Drop/Withdraw
After the first day of classes, for each individual session, a service charge will be assessed when dropping/withdrawing from ALL classes in that session.
The add/drop deadline for a class occurs when the class has reached 15% of its meetings.
To totally drop/withdraw from ALL classes within a session, contact the Registrar's Office in Carter Hall, Room 3002, 970-351-2231.
Please check each class for exact start and end dates.
Complete Withdrawal from Summer Term
Once the summer session has begun, students withdrawing from all their classes will be assessed a 15% charge. However, students cannot drop or withdraw from all your classes on Ursa; students must contact the Registrar's Office to completely withdraw from the summer term - 970-351-2231.
Terminology
Drop: To drop is to officially cancel your registration for one or more (but not all) of your classes prior to the 15% point in the session. Deadlines for dropping classes are listed on the summer session calendar. For short term classes, contact the Registrar's Office (351-2231) for individual class deadlines. Individual classes dropped prior to the drop deadline will not be charged tuition for the dropped classes, and no record of the drop is placed on the transcript.
Withdraw: To withdraw from one or more (but not all) courses is to cancel your registration after the 15% drop deadline. A "W" grade will be placed on your transcript, without affecting your GPA. Students are responsible for tuition for all withdrawn classes.
