Graduation Application: What you should know before applying

 

A graduation application can be submitted at any time after the completion of 90 hours but no later than two weeks into the term of graduation. An evaluation of your academic record will be completed at the time of application. All requirements remaining to be completed for a degree will be indicated and monitored for completion prior to graduation.

A one-time, non-refundable graduation fee will be added to your account shortly after applying for graduation.

Review your degree evaluation on URSA to verify your graduation requirements. The degree evaluation is located on the student tab on the left hand side. Make sure to generate a new evaluation in order to see your updated requirements and registration.

How to Apply for Graduation

To apply for graduation:

  • Call - 970-351-2231, option 3 or
  • Stop by our office in Carter Hall 3002

At this time you will fill out an graduation application to declare your intent to graduate. We will schedule an appointment where you will review your degree evaluation with one of our graduation advisors. Please bring a photo ID and if you are unable to make your appointment, please call us at (970) 353-2231, option 3 to reschedule.

What to Do After You Apply

 

Make sure your address is current

Information about graduation is sent each semester to all who have applied to graduate that term. This information is sent to the mailing address listed for you on the university's data system. It is important to keep all contact information current and to contact the Graduation Office with any changes in order to ensure your graduation goes according to plan.
