FAQs for Graduating Seniors and their Parents
When will diplomas be available for graduating seniors?
- Diplomas may be picked up beginning June 6, 2008 in the Registrar’s Office, Carter Hall 3002. Diplomas are not mailed unless you submit a request indicating to the Registrar’s Office the address to where your diploma is to be sent. Diploma requests may be submitted by: An email to: Judith.Michalik@unco.edu, or a call to the Registrar’s Office at (970) 351-2231 (select option #3), or a mail request to Registrar’s Office, Carter Hall 3002, Greeley, CO 80639. In addition, one FREE transcript will be issued per graduate. The transcript will be issued with the diploma.
- Every graduating student will be contacted by the University Registrar’s Office to confirm the student’s receipt of the diploma cover, to confirm student’s current address and to answer any questions.
How can I have a Commencement photograph taken?
You will have an opportunity to have a photograph taken by a professional photographer with either President Norton or a member of the Academic Administration. We will mail you a CD of your photos free of charge. The photographs will be taken at the University Center, Aspen A and B, from noon to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week (May 13-16). If you still have your cap and gown, please bring them with you to wear in the picture. If you do not have your regalia, we will provide a cap and gown for you. If you would like to bring your own camera to take photos, we will keep the room and backdrop set up through 10:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17th. You are welcome to stop by any time the University Center is open.
