Fall 2008 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony

Complete Fall 2008 commencement information will be available at a future date. Please contact the Graduation Area of the Registrar's Office (351-2231 Option 3) with any specific undergraduate commencement questions.
Cap and Gown Ordering
Cap and gown ordering will take place at the Graduation Fair, scheduled for Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the University Center - Barnes and Noble Bookstore . If students are not able to attend the Graduation Fair, orders may be placed online at www.herffjones.com/college/graduation until Monday, November 3. Specific questions about orders may be addressed to the vendor, Unique Recognition, at (970) 663-2668. Payment for orders at the Graduation Fair can be made by cash, check or credit card.
Late orders (after November 3) will be taken at the time of distribution on Thursday, December 11 and Friday, December 12. A late order fee will be assessed and cash only payment will be accepted at this time.
General Commencement Information
• Seating is available on a first-come basis.
• Diplomas will be released via mail or in-person on January 19, 2009 . Diplomas can be mailed provided a written request indicating a diploma mailing address is submitted to the Registrar's Office.
Cap and Gown Distribution
Distribution of caps and gowns will take place on Thursday, December 11 and Friday, December 12 at the University Center . Distribution times and room location will be available at a future date.
Graduation Deadlines
Please note the following Deadlines for a successful Fall 2008 graduation:
- Application for graduation must be received by October 17, 2008 to have your name printed in the program.
- Adjustment memos are due by November 14, 2008
- Test Scores and Visual Arts Recitals are due by December 5, 2008
- Official transcripts from other institutions, Music Portfolios and all grades including those for final semester, incompletes and extended study courses are due by December 17, 2008.
