Auditing or Senior Citizen
As a non-degree seeking student, you may wish to audit a course. When you audit a course, you do not need to complete assignments or exams, but you are expected to attend class. If you successfully complete the class, you will be given a grade of "NC" (no credit). If you wish to audit a course, please contact the Office of the Registrar at 970-351-2231.
Tuition and fees are charged for audited courses and the course is not eligible for the COF stipend.
If you are a senior citizen (65 and above) and wish to take a course for credit, normal tuition and fees apply.
If you are a senior citizen and wish to audit a course, you may do so with no tuition charge (course fees may apply). Registration is subject to space availability and must be completed in person at the Office of the Registrar.
Seniors will be allowed to register the Monday following the last day of pre-registration for UNC students.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the Office of the Registrar at 970-351-2231.
