- The results of Dr. Olivo’s study of gender in introductory American government and politics textbooks will be published as “Bringing Women In: Gender and American Government Textbooks,” Journal of Political Science Education, forthcoming, 2012; and “The Exclusion and Inclusion of Women in American Government Textbooks,” The New Politics of the Textbook: A Project of Critical Examination and Resistance, edited by Heather Hickman and Brad J. Porfilio, forthcoming, 2011.
- Dr. Olivo will facilitate the public policy track for UNC’s LEAP (Leaders Engaging in Action through Passion) Summit in Loveland, CO, 11-12 November 2011.
