Colleges provide schools, Human Resources and the Provost with their list of faculty eligible for promotion and tenure. Eligibility will be confirmed by Human Resources to Academic Affairs and Deans by 10/7/07.

November - March

Director notifies eligible faculty. November - March.

1. Eligible faculty submits documentation to director.
2. Tenured department faculty recommendation to director.
3. Director's recommendation to Dean.

March 17, 2008

Promotion and tenure recommendations and comprehensive evaluations and letters from dean and director to Provost. Review of faculty dossiers by Provost and the Provost's staff. Dossier materials will be accessible in the Deans Office for review by Office of the Provost staff and the Provost.

March 31, 2008

Provost's recommendation summary to President.

April, 2008

Completed material (final summary, as approved by President and Provost for presentation to BOT).

May 9, 2008

Promotion and tenure recommendations to BOT.
