On August 1, 2016, Dr. Paul M. Bobrowski became the dean of the Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to UNC, Dr. Bobrowski served in administrative roles at the University of Dayton as dean of the School of Business Administration, at Auburn University, including six years as the Dean of the College of Business, and at Syracuse University where he was Director of the Executive MBA Program and the Associate Dean of MBA Programs. His initial academic assignment was at the University of Oregon where he taught undergraduate and graduate courses in operations management. Dr. Bobrowski was recognized with teaching awards at the University of Oregon and Syracuse University and received the Stanley Hardy Best Paper Award from the Midwest Decision Sciences Institute.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Dr. Bobrowski began a nine year stint in the Air Force, working initially as a performance engineer on the Lightweight Fighter Program (the F-16) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Reaching the rank of captain, his Air Force career also included 4½ years in Los Angeles working on the Navstar Global Positioning System (GPS). He earned a master of science in management from Purdue University and a doctorate in operations management from Indiana University.
Dr. Bobrowski is married to Dr. Paula Bobrowski, Associate Dean of Faculty, Research and Graduate Programs, College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University. They have four adult children.
