Olga Baron joined the University of Northern Colorado in November of 2017. From 2005 to 2017 she worked at Eastern Washington University in various capacities related to international education. Experience includes international program management, recruitment and marketing, partnership development, international student and scholar services, language pathway modalities, study abroad and faculty led programming, short-term programs, immigration compliance, and risk management.

Prior to joining EWU in 2005, Olga worked in the private international exchanges sector at People to People Ambassador Programs developing and implementing international exchange opportunities for high school and college students and U.S. professional associations in over 30 countries across the world.  

Olga holds a bachelor's degree in International Studies from Gonzaga University, a master's degree in Public Administration from Eastern Washington University, and a leadership certificate from Harvard University Graduate School of Education. 

A native of Ukraine, Olga is a multilingual cross-cultural educator with extensive international work experience in all major world regions. Her current interests in higher education administration focus on comprehensive internationalization, student and faculty mobility, student success and retention, and intercultural engagement issues.
