Reporting crimes and emergencies

If you have an emergency or need to report an in-progress crime, call 911 immediately.

To report any type of crime, suspicious activity, or to contact the UNC Police Department, the non-emergency number for the UNC Police Department is (970) 351-2245 (1-2245 from on-campus phones).

The University of Northern Colorado also provides anonymous crime reporting available through a service called MySafeCampus. Information on this service is available at MySafeCampus is not an emergency service - if there is an emergency, contact the Police Department for immediate help.

The UNC Police Department also participates in the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers program. Anonymous tips can be filed by phone, through the website, and even text message.
