In group two, we (or, more precisely, Ray) talked about so many quests to find 'the truth' that have taken place.... Most have failed miserably, but some truths have been found -- truths about mathematics, science, even some about humans. But my question to you is this: what do you think would happen if someone ever found 'the truth'*?

*'The truth' being something truly universal.

And this is all assuming you think 'the truth' is possible. If you don't think it is, I'd still like to hear your feedback on why not. And if you have speculations on what 'the truth' could possibly be, I'd also like to hear that.

Some would consider God to be "the truth." I happen to agree, although I'm not sure that I could defend that position...

I completely agree with Joseph. I think that proving that God exists would turn the universe upside down. Still, I believe that it's true that He exists even though no science can prove it. We have to allow ourselves to believe without any doubts or reservations beforehand.
