Since the forums have been lacking participation and we all are graded on online participation, here's a simpler topic that may or may not bring forth more in-depth discussion.

In most stories, there is a protagonist or a hero. In Man's Fate, we meet many characters. Each one's personal beliefs and actions differ -- from pure murder to cowardice to sacrificing his life for others, so my question for you is this: "Who is the hero, or who are the heroes, of Man's Fate?"

I think most people thinks of the hero of a story as the person who saves everyone from his or her doom. There is no hero in Man's Fate: everyone dies; no one is saved.
